The Children of Israel Fund is a volunteer only tax-exempt charitable organization as described under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
All donations are tax deductible.
The money raised by the Children of Israel Fund goes to the Israeli families with children younger than 18 years old whose parent(s) was murdered by Arab terrorists.
Information about the victims is taken from the official Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs website: Victims of Palestinian Violence and Terrorism since September 2000 and In Memory of the Victims of Palestinian Violence and Terrorism in Israel.
The Fund sends the checks directly to the children’s families.
To maximize the benefit of the Fund, we are doing everything we can to keep costs down.
The Fund has no paid employees and relies exclusively on members of the community who donate their time and services (clerical, bookkeeping, web development, etc.).
Various media outlets and small businesses have also contributed their services to the Fund.
Terrorism affects people from all walks of life, but the most hard-hit victims of all are the youngsters. While we can do nothing to fill the void left by the loss of their mothers and fathers, we can at least help to diminish their emotional and financial hardship.
In the interest of protecting their privacy, the Fund does not publish the names of the children it helps or those of their caretakers. If you have questions about any aspect of our organization, please feel free to call 847-329-1366 or contact us.
